Troy Devine Obituary, St. John KS Death: Gone Too Soon April 8, 1998-June 5 2026

The St. John, Kansas community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Troy Andrew Devine, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 28 at Integris Health Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. His sudden passing has left family, friends, coworkers, and community members grieving the loss of a young man remembered for his strong work ethic, devotion to family, and genuine kindness.

Born on April 8, 1998, in Great Bend, Kansas, Troy was the son of Darin Devine and Chrissy (Eversole) Devine. A lifelong resident of Stafford County, he graduated from St. John High School in 2017 and built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and community values.

Troy worked as a Foreman for Dig-Rite Hydro Excavation, where he earned the respect of colleagues through his leadership and commitment. Prior to that, he worked as a farmhand for Cornwell Farms, a role that reflected his connection to the agricultural traditions of the region. Friends and coworkers remember him as dependable, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand when needed.

Above all, Troy cherished his family. He was a proud father to his son, Weston Devine, who brought immense joy and purpose to his life. Those who knew Troy often spoke of the love he had for his son and the importance of family in everything he did.

He is survived by his parents, Chrissy (Mark) Green and Darin Devine; his son Weston; siblings Austin White and Makayla White; grandparents Eddie and Bettina Devine, Wade and Rae Eversole, and Jimmy Green; as well as nieces, a nephew, extended family members, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on June 8 at Minnis Chapel in St. John, followed by a Celebration of Life on June 9 at the IOOF Lodge. Burial will take place at Fairview Park Cemetery.

Though his life was cut far too short, Troy Andrew Devine’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
